Cycling without Age
Cycling Without Age is a movement started in 2012 by Ole Kassow. Ole wanted to help the elderly get back on their bicycles, but he had to find a solution to their limited mobility. The answer was a trishaw and he started offering free bike rides to the local nursing home residents.
He then got in touch with a civil society consultant from the City of Copenhagen, Dorthe Pedersen (now Cycling Without Age), who was intrigued by the idea and together they bought the first 5 trishaws and launched Cycling Without Age, which has now spread to all corners of Denmark, and since 2015 to another 38 countries around the world.

Oh Boy: Bicycle House - Malmø, Sweden
The bike in front of the house. The bike in the bike garage. The bike in the lift. The Bike in front of the apartment door. The load bike in front of the fridge. The spare time bike above the bed.

Cord Siegel from the architectural office Hauschild + Siegel talks about the Oh Boy Bicycle House in Malmö. It is the home of 55 apartments and 31 smart hotel rooms. It is a building for a modern, urban lifestyle, making it easier to live green with solutions to enable the sharing of resources, reducing emissions all the while living a comfortable life in the city.
The loft hotel rooms’ interiors are locally sourced – design, production and materials for the furniture are all from the south of Sweden. And the whole building is constructed so that bikes easily can be taken through the house and in every apartment comfortably. An ingenious approach for sustainable living!

The future of Parking
Is the future of parking - No Parking?
How is the IoT changing the parking business already?
Which currency will your self-driving car use when it pays for parking without you?

Kasper Daae - Co-founder of Parkeringskompagniet/Nordic Parking - the fastest growing parking company in Denmark, will give his view on the future of parking, mobility and tell how his company is forcing a lot of its competitors to rethink their business model.

Nordic Parking has created a system that gives its users the opportunity to patrol their own parking lots, create parking tickets and fines from their phone whereafter Nordic Parking makes sure the money gets paid and transfer half of the amount back to the owner of the parking area.

The company has received a lot of media attention in Denmark recently and the talk will address that as well.

How to design a mobility company in the 21st century
If you had a blank sheet of paper, no legacy, no dependencies & no limitations, how would you design tomorrow’s BMW? This is a question that we asked ourselves 5 years ago, when we founded unu. While there is probably not the perfect answer, I will try to tell you about our journey & thought process on building a mobility company for the 21st century.

It’s all about mobility: E-mobility, mobility management, sharing mobility.
Limited Capacity filling up

It’s all about mobility. This means to be able to travel easily from A to B in big cities, towns as well as in rural areas. For this reason, to be mobile sometimes means also to be creative. In our workshop we will analyze mobility problems and try to find solutions using Lego Serious Play. One task will be to think about the mobility of WATERKANT – how can events be easily accessible for different means of transport? Another topic will be e-mobility and accessibility – show us your ideas for pushing e-mobility in our region!
Martin Kliesow, geographer and spatial planner. After doing development with the people in the districts of vienna I’m now working on solutions for the mobility of tomorrow in the KielRegion.
