We live in a world of machines. – Machines, that learn. Call it Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), smart machines.. These technologies are almost everywhere by now and have huge influence on our lives. Often "smart” technologies are a great support to us, make our lives easier, safer, faster and more convenient. But! There is a problem! Machines are build by us and learn from us. And they also learn the bad, nasty stuff. Bias, stereotypes, discrimination. In this entertaining and non-tech-people-friendly talk we will share some problems and examples and give simple advice on how to do better.
